I Remember So Well

I remember so well…my first Christmas as a true Christ-follower! Oh, yes, I had swarms of Christmas memories before that amazing year in 1968. I had celebrated the birth of Christ, sung the carols, swapped gifts, watched the TV specials, and enjoyed all the decorations and Christmas parties....more

MESSAGE FROM OUR TEACHING DIRECTOR

Dear Prospective Class Members and Members,

Studying three very different books of the Bible will be a change from our usual format; but one that I'm confident will be not only enjoyable, but challenging.  We will begin with an eighteen week study of Hebrews. The message of Hebrews, as one commentator says, can be summed up in a single phrase:  "God speaks effectively to us through Jesus."  Our lives are filled with problems and in Hebrews, we will find solutions.

Next comes a six week study on the book of Job.  Here we will be confronted with the reality of living life as a Christian.  Finally, a six week study of Galatians will complete our study.  The operative word for Galatians is "grace"; personal, doctrinal, and practical.  What a perfect way to end the year.

Whether you are an experienced Bible student or a beginner, each week's study is designed for you.  So please consider joining with us as we systematically study the Bible.  See you in September!

                In Christ,
                Karen Rheams
                Teaching Director
