Don't Let the Summer Slip Away!

We all know how it goes. First, the weather warms up... then come spring sports, graduations, cookouts, and vacation. Summer is gone before you know it!

Don't let the summer slip away so fast! Here's some ideas to help you keep your heart engaged with God's Word:

1. Check out the summer reading list. It's full of titles that will keep you thinking all summer.

2. Grab a copy of one of our Engage Bible Studies which are now available in 17 titles. One of the short courses could be just right.

Or, pick a book of the Bible and read it through. You won't regret it. Whatever you choose, we hope you will stay engaged with His Word as you enjoy your summer.

To register, print and fill out an Adult Registration Form. If you have children, please print and fill out the Child Registration Form (use one form for all children being registered).

Ephesians Wrap-up and Celebration Brunch

We have concluded our 2012-13 CBS program. Congratulations for completing the study of Hebrews and Ephesians with us this season in Community Bible Study!

Thank you for attending our Celebration Brunch on Thursday, April 25. It was a joyful time of giving God glory for his work in us through our time in His word.

You are welcome to listen to the audio recording of the message and Praises by clicking on "Lessons" on the blue navigation bar above, and scrolling down to April 25.

We trust that your walk with the Lord has been strengthened as we have studied together in fellowship. Paul's words in Eph. 3:20-21 are a terrific send-off for the summer:

"Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever, Amen!"

We encourage you to register now for our Fall 2013 CBS study of the Gospel of Mark and 1&2 Thessalonians!

We begin our next study on September 12, 2013 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 424 Via de la Valle, Solana Beach (click on"Get Connected" above for a map of our temporary location).

About Solana Beach CBS
Solana Beach CBS is made up of women from various denominations, churches, ages and ethnic backgrounds, joining together to grow in our relationships with God and others.

We are blessed that Calvary Lutheran Church is allowing us to temporarily use their church as our meeting place during the construction at Solana Beach Presbyterian Church. We meet each Thursday from 10am to noon. Our 2013-2014 Class will begin on September 12, 2013 and run into May, 2014.

Children are welcome too! We have programs for Babies (4 months to walking), Toddlers (walking to out of diapers), Preschool (to age 5), and Junior CBS (for homeschoolers from 1st to 12th grade).
