Don't Let the Summer Slip Away!

We all know how it goes. First, the weather warms up... then come spring sports, graduations, cookouts, and vacation. Summer is gone before you know it!

Don't let the summer slip away so fast! Here's some ideas to help you keep your heart engaged with God's Word:

1. Check out the summer reading list. It's full of titles that will keep you thinking all summer.

2. Grab a copy of one of our Engage Bible Studies which are now available in 17 titles. One of the short courses could be just right.

Or, pick a book of the Bible and read it through. You won't regret it. Whatever you choose, we hope you will stay engaged with His Word as you enjoy your summer.

Sign Up for Fall Studies

There's no better time than now to sign up for the fall. You can get connected with this class, or search for all classes in your area. Why not go ahead and register?

Supporting Community Bible Study

The mission of Community Bible Study is to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in- depth Bible study, available to all. CBS is non-denominational, with the leadership of each class coming from the local area and representing a broad cross section of the Christian community. CBS leaders are volunteers, called by God, who love the Lord and His Word, and receive no monetary compensation. Only a small cadre of staff, located primarily at the Ministry Service Center in Colorado Springs, are compensated.

How can you partner with CBS to fulfill our global vision of seeing lives transformed through the Word of God?

Prayer

The Community Bible Study ministry began as an answer to prayer and we continue to lift up every aspect of the ministry to God. We welcome your continuous prayer support. If you would like to see the specific needs of CBS, please look at our monthly Prayer Calendar. Thank you!

Gifts

Class registration fees provide less than one quarter of the financial resources needed to operate the ministry. Each individual class, as well as the ministry as a whole, is financially supported through the generous contributions.

We want you to know that all giving in CBS is voluntary. Class members who are unable to contribute may freely attend. We never want anyone to feel pressured to give, and registration scholarships are always available.

Gifts to support the ministry of Community Bible Study can be made online or mailed to:

Community Bible Study
790 Stout Road
Colorado Springs, CO 80921

Special Note for CBS Class Members: If you wish, you may specify your class when you give online. When you do this, you ensure that your gift will also benefit your host church. Just choose the "General Fund" on the first giving screen, and then specify your home class when completing the donor information.
