Almost 300 New Leaders Trained

CBS leaders from around the country converged on Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado, for three days of intensive training April 14-16. (And, yes, it snowed while they were here, but you had to be up really early to see it before it melted!)

Now all have departed for home with full hearts and new skills to express their own servant leadership in their communities. Imagine the impact these new leaders will have in your classes and your communities! A few photos are up on the Community Bible Study Facebook page!

Welcome to Clearwater Men's

Community Bible Study!

Our classes started on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, with the 30-week study of "The Gospel of John”. This warm, intimate study of the life and ministry of Jesus, the Word Incarnate, draws applications from His relationships with individuals and their distinct needs. The questions are straightforward, encouraging students to investigate the gospel first-hand, to understand Christ’s claims, and to respond to the Truth.

Our classes meet for one and one-half hours from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, once a week for 30 weeks, starting on September 13th and ending in May. We take breaks at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Each week's lessons are independent, making it easy for new members to join throughtout the length of the study. If you missed the first part of the study, don't hessitate to start in later weeks.

CBS classes are attended by people from various backgrounds who meet at a local host church for Bible study. All men are welcome (interdenominational and appropriate for all levels of Bible knowledge). The study includes individual study, small group discussion, teaching and fellowship.

Community Bible Sttudy participants follow a daily reading plan and answer questions on the selected passages. Questions focus on determining what the passages say (fact), what the passages mean (interpretation), and how the information in the passage pertains to their lives. Participants then share their answers and insights in a small group lead by a trained leader.
